MODELS Bluetooth MultiPort, WW 228057-B21 OVERVIEW BluetoothTM MultiPort Module by Compaq is Compaq's Bluetooth communications implementation that provides wireless connectivity to other devices, by using the Bluetooth wireless technology MultiPort provides a flexible interface to integrate Bluetooth into Compaq notebooks, with the added benefit of leaving the PC Card and Mini PCI slots available for other technologies. In addition, the unique design and placement of MultiPort greatly reduces noise susceptibility and prevents signal strength degradation while increasing radio coverage. MultiPort is fully compliant with the Bluetooth 1.1 protocol specification. A compatibility matrix will be provided on the web to confirm which Bluetooth Products work well with our Bluetooth MultiPort Profile Support: General Access Profile Service Discovery Application Profile Serial Port Profile Generic Object Exchange Profile File Transfer Profile Synchronization Profile Dial-up Networking LAN Access Profile Object Push Profile COMPATIBILITY Compaq Evo Notebooks N400c and N600c Note: The MultiPort is not backward compatible with Compaq Armada Notebooks S E R V I C E A N D SUPP O R T This Compaq option is covered by a one-year limited warranty.
