T h e computer's configuration (CMOS) may occasionally be corrupted. If it does, it is necessary to clear CBh A l i a s e d at CAh

B e c a u s e of this feature, users cannot power off the computer immediately after powering up. The video
d i s p l a y must be active before the computer can be powered off.
C A U T I O N : U n p l u g g i n g the power cord during POST can corrupt the
s p l a s h screen. Flashing the ROM is required to restore the splash screen.
T h e computer will continue to function even if the splash screen has
