The DEFEA-MA is a one-card, dual attachment station (DAS) adapter with two
8-pin MJ connectors. The DEFEA-MA provides direct connection of industry
standard computers with an EISA I/O bus to a 100-megabits/second (100 Mb/s)
FDDI network using Category 5 unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) copper cable or
100-ohm screened twisted-pair (ScTP) cable.
