Leading-edge 10 Mb/s Ethernet performance using the ThunderLAN
technology and Compaq-developed device drivers to deliver fast data
throughput and low processor utilization.
Easy upgrades to 100Base-TX, 100Base-FX and 100VG-AnyLAN using
inexpensive upgrade modules.
A single, auto-sensing device driver supports all modules for
your network operating system.
NetFlex-3/E (EISA) or NetFlex-3/P (PCI). Supports 10Base-T and
10Base-2 wiring schemes. Upgrades support 100Base-TX, 100VG-AnyLAN UTP,
and 100Base-FX fiber.
Supports full-duplex Ethernet when configured for 10Base-T
delivering data throughput of up to 20 Mb/s. When configured with the
100Base-TX or 100Base-FX module, speeds up to 200 Mb/s can be obtained.
Network Interface Fault Recovery Tracking: Compaq Insight
Manager provides monitoring and alerting features, tracking numerous
failure indication parameters such as alignment errors, lost frames, and
frame copy errors. Also, the Netflex-3 Controllers support the Compaq
Advanced Network Fault Detection and correction feature in new Compaq
servers allowing the use of redundant server connections for added
reliability.
Fully tested on a variety of Compaq products, including the
ProSignia Family of Servers, the ProLiant Family of Servers, and the
Deskpro/XL.
