The TLZ09 is compatible with 60m cassette tapes written on the
TLZ04 in the noncompressed mode only.
The TLZ09 is compatible with the TLZ06/6L using 60m and 90m
tapes only, and with the TLZ07/7L using 60m, 90m, and 120m tapes.
The compression measurements are typical for a 2-to-1 data
compression ratio, but the actual ratio is dependent on the data.
The TLZ07 uses DDS1 and DDS2 tapes and if the drive cannot ID
the tape specifically as a DDS2 tape, then it writes the tape as a DDS1
tape.
The TLZ09 uses DDS1 and DDS2 and will read/write according to
the recognized format of the tape.
