These are also known as Blackwatch tapes. *Note 2: *Only 10.5 inch reels will autoload Description =========== The TU78/TA78 and TU79/TA79 tape subsystems are high capacity, high speed, 9-track, 1/2 inch reel-to-reel, dual format, synchronous read after write, vacuum controlled tape subsystems. Up to 4 tape drives can be connected to one master formatter which is located in the bottom of the master drive. Two formatters are available for connection to either the massbus or the HSC family of controllers using the STI bus.
