DLT (digital linear tape) drive, the TZ87N, for users who do not require
TK50 or TK70 compatibility. The TZ87N DLT tape drive and its companion, the
TZ877-NE/NF autoloader, provide the capacity, performance, reliability, and
system support that you expect from a DLT drive -- and at a lower price.
They are compatible with media written by other DLT tape drives and loaders,
including the Tx85, Tx86, and Tx87 drives and autoloaders, and are ideal
high performance, unattended backup solutions for OpenVMS (VAX and AXP) and
ULTRIX systems and NetWare LANs.
