Description

The HP StorageWorks Ultrium 460 Tape Drive for ProLiant is the second
generation of HP's Ultrium tape drive family, delivering a compressed
capacity of 400 GB on a single HP Ultrium cartridge (C7972A). The Ultrium
460 Tape Drive for ProLiant builds on the success of the Ultrium 230 in
terms of performance, capacity and reliability in the superdrive tape
market. The Ultrium 460 is the ideal choice for modern data centers where
the backup window is shrinking, backing up 400 GB in less than two hours.

Adaptive Tape Speed dynamically matches the transfer rates of
slower hosts (from 10 MB/s upwards) - increases performance, reduces

increasing the head life and reducing the need for periodic cleaning
