Description

The AlphaServer GS1280 and ES80 systems are high-performance server
platforms designed for enterprise-level applications. They offer a high
degree of scalability and expandability.
*GS1280*
This system is based on dual-processor modules housed in an 8P
drawer. The 8P drawer has a maximum of four dual-processor modules, or
eight microprocessors. A GS1280 Model 8 system has one 8P drawer; Model
16 has two 8P drawers, Model 32 has four 8P drawers, and the Model 64
has eight 8P drawers.
*ES80*
This system is also based on dual-processor modules but housed
in 2P drawers. An ES80 system has a maximum of four 2P drawers.
*ES47*
This system is also based on dual-processor modules and housed
in 2P drawers. An ES47 system has a maximum of two 2P drawers.
