Description

The systems and devices on a LAN that support the LAT protocol form a LAT
network. LAT networks combine hardware and software components to allow
communication between terminals, printers or modems and computer systems.
Network resources located on the LAT network are known as services. These
services are accessed by other LAT nodes through logical connections called
sessions.
