*7 U / ML330 Kit*
Designed for a two-node ProLiant ML330-based high availability cluster
configuration. This kit supports clusters with the Ethernet IP node-to-node
interconnect and the Compaq NonStop Cross-Node Mirrored reliable storage
option.
Rapid and simple installation - the Quick Install kit is designed for a
successful installation of the operating and cluster software within one
hour.
Maximum availability, minimum cost - supports any two ProLiant ML330 servers
providing the two servers are configured identically.
Direct Ethernet IP connection - the Ethernet included with the ProLiant
ML330 is used for the interconnect hardware. The Ethernet interconnect is
configured as a private network on its own subnet.

Designed for a ProLiant CL380-based cluster configuration. This kit
supports clusters with the Ethernet IP node-to-node interconnect and the
CL380 shared SCSI RAID Storage System.
Rapid and simple installation - the Quick Install kit is designed for a
successful installation of the operating and cluster software within one
hour.
Pre-packaged cluster design - the ProLiant CL380 is a unique pre-packaged,
2-node system in a single, space-efficient cabinet.
Direct Ethernet IP connection - uses the Ethernet IP node interconnect and
the ProLiant CL380 RAID storage system. No cluster interconnect hardware is
required as the embedded Ethernet (included with the ProLiant CL380) is
supported.

Compaq NonStop Clusters software, developed by Compaq for distribution by
SCO, provides up to 99.995% system availability for applications and data in
business-critical SCO UnixWare environments.

Description
===========
These kits support nearly the entire range of Compaq's industry-leading
ProLiant servers, Cross Node Mirrored storage, Compaq StorageWorks Raid
Array 4000 (RA4000) and Raid Array 4100 (RA4100), ServerNet I or Ethernet IP
cluster interconnects, ProLiant ML330 or ML350-based, ProLiant DL380- or
ML370-based, two-node ProLiant ML330-based, ProLiant CL380-based, high
availability cluster configuration, and/or Compaq's installation and systems
management utilities.
Compaq hardware is combined with Caldera's UnixWare 7.1.1 Operating System
and NonStop Clusters 7.1.1+IP software, all provided by Compaq. A wide
variety of options are supported, including disk, tape backup, network
interface controllers, a pre-package tower or rack-mounted configuration,
and remote management. The Compaq Unix NonStop Cluster Support is composed
of three cluster kits designed for selected ProLiant Servers. Each kit
includes a unique Quick Install package with an installation wizard, server
specific installation poster, and a cluster reference guide. All SCO
Unixware and Caldera software and/or license keys must be purchased
separately from a Caldera reseller or distributor.
