*Product
Description*
The Compaq PDC/O2000 for Oracle RAC on Windows 2000 Advanced Server or
Data Center is a two to six node mid to high end cluster certified on
Oracle Parallel 9i Real Application Cluster. It is only supported on
Windows 2000 Advanced Server (SP2) and based on Compaq servers to
simultaneously share a single Oracle database.

It utilizes the Compaq StorageWorks MSA 1000 shared storage sub-systems
(redundant shared storage paths), and selected Compaq ProLiant servers.

-----
*IMPORTANT: Supported Configurations* Only clusters with
the same server model and the same hardware and software
configurations are supported.

*Minimum Requirements*:

Servers must be the same models and each one must be configured with the
identical hardware.

Each server must be configured with at least two NICs.

If more than two servers are configured, FC Switches must be configured.

The service considerations for the PDC/02000, PDC/01000 solution for OPS 9i
Real Application Cluster are as follows:

The PDC/O2000, PDC/01000 cluster supports mixed ProLiant server types,
but the hardware configurations listed below should be identical between
server types.

Each ProLiant server in the PDC/O2000, PDC/01000 cluster must have a
minimum of 256 MB of memory.

All ProLiant servers within a PDC/O2000 or PDC/01000 cluster must be
balanced by having the following:

Same type and number of processors

Same amount of primary and secondary cache

Same type and amount of memory
